Warmth, vivid tonal colors, and musicality are characteristics strongly associated with Innuos. The Zen MK3 is no different. In our opinion, the Innuos Zen MK3 is the sweet spot in their product lineup. Offering class leading performance and unique features. But most importantly, it sounds incredible. Innuos designs a range of streaming products for both audio and video in the UK an builds them in Portugal, a range that contains three Zen models of audio server with a built in disc drive. The Zen MK3 has Dual-ethernet ports with isolation transformers to filter noise significantly improve sound quality. One for the incoming data on ethernet, and the other for connected streamers. You can bypass your router and connect an additional streamer directly to the Zen via the second ethernet port, which offers up a much quieter signal when compared to a direct router connection. Easy to setup.

We listened to all server streamers we could. They were either way too much money for what they delivered or too complex. Innuos is taking over the world market because they are none of those issues. Brilliantly simple to use and modestly priced. Built from the ground up including their OS. All in all the Innuos ZEN MkII makes a very good case for using a dedicated audio server rather than a NAS drive and network switch, it sounds considerably better for one, making even a high end NAS seem distinctly crude by comparison. It also gives excellent results with both USB and Ethernet connections thanks to the efforts that the company has put into creating a quiet power supply and well isolated outputs.
Now at True Audiophile
Sean Jacobs, the Mk3 family benefits from trickle-down technology. We advanced our three key design areas: minimising power noise, reducing vibration and optimising firmware, resulting in the entire range benefiting from upgraded power supplies, new custom motherboards and new chassis. The ZEN and ZENith also receive upgraded anti-vibration with asymmetrical isolation feet, whilst the new Mini now also enjoys greater connectivity, and an optional Linear Power Supply upgrade. The new ZEN Mk3 now has:.
The ZEN Mk3 represents new value for money in digital audio performance. The ZEN ensures a cleaner digital signal by reducing power noise. Through a dual-linear power supply, designed by Dr. Sean Jacobs, with ultra-low noise regulator design, Nichicon MUSE Capacitors and medical-grade mains filter, your music opens up and reveals new levels of realism. Our own custom-made Innuos motherboard is completely reworked for optimised audio performance. Dual-ethernet ports with isolation transformers provide an ultra-low noise network connection for your streamer, removing noise from the path and improving sound quality on all network audio. New asymmetrical isolation feet derived from our award-winning ZENith SE plus added chassis treatment help to combat harmful vibration that affect a clean audio signal.
